Top seats at a thrilling André Rieu concert in Cologne, Germany, have been secured for Saga guests sailing on the music-themed cruise along the Rhine and her Tributaries on March 7, 2017.

In a first for Saga, guests sail on Filia Rheni II to take Category 1 seats in the Lanxess Arena to watch André Rieu conduct his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra.

Rieu also plays his 1667 Stradivarius violin in the joyous concert which features romantic, emotional ballads and celebrated waltzes.

As part of the themed cruise, expert host Peter Grevatt gives fascinating music talks during the sailing and guests can visit to Beethoven's house in Bonn.

Chartered exclusively for Saga, river cruise ship Filia Rheni II is popular with guests and has received the Saga Top Ship and two-rosette Good Food awards. Guests tuck into buffet breakfasts while three-course lunches and four-course dinners are waiter-served.
