Compare coastal Solin, Tucepi and the island of Brac on Saga’s 14-night Jewels of Croatia holiday which starts from £879. Yes, £879!

This three-centre holiday includes flights, all-inclusive accommodation and four tours. Each hotel has a dedicated lounge with a free bar open from 11am to 11pm, serving local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Guests fly to Split and travel to the historic town of Solin, for a four-night stay at the Hotel President (4Q). Here on the Dalmatian Coast guests can relax or join excursions to Salona, the fourth-largest city of the Roman Empire, and historical Trogir. There are further optional trips to Krka National Park and the harbour town of Sibenik, where St Jacob’s Cathedral dominates the promenade.

The itinerary also includes a walking tour of the UNESCO-protected city of Split, with its magnificent Diocletian's Palace, before the holiday continues to Brac, via a 50-minute ferry ride across cobalt blue waters to Supetar.

Here guests spend seven nights at the waterfront Hotel Kaktus Resort (3Q), set between a pine wood and the beach, and close to the town centre. Brac is a sleepy haven of traditional villages, olive trees, fragrant pine forests and rugged cliffs with peaceful bays and an included tour takes guests around the island.

On Day 12, guests return to Split and travel south along the coast to the fishing village of Tucepi, on the Makarska Riviera. The Bluesun Hotel Alga (4Q) is close to Tučepi beach, which is known for its crystal-clear waters.

During the three-night stay there is optional tour to walk inside the walls of the beautifully restored medieval city of Dubrovnik or take an excursion to the pretty coastal town of Omis.

An expert tour manager is available throughout this holiday and can advise on car hire and local bus services for guests who want to further explore the region’s charming historic towns and spectacular scenery.
