“Actual Aunt” and “often in agony” Dawn French welcomed as new Saga Magazine Agony Aunt

Following its stylish redesign, the UK’s best-selling monthly subscription magazine, has appointed actress, writer, comedian and presenter Dawn French as its new agony aunt as of the October 2019 issue.

The leading subscription-only lifestyle magazine for the over 50s which has nearly half a million readers promises French’s new role of agony aunt to bring “warm wit and wisdom to bear on problems” troubling its Saga readers.

French’s introduction to the monthly problem page will bring a charming combination of her renowned humour and sound advice with to its readers. Describing her suitability for her new role, Dawn French commented: “Not to boast, but I am perfectly qualified for my role as Saga’s new agony aunt because A) I AM an actual aunt B) I’m often in agony (and if I’m not I ensure those around me are!)”
