Calling all Bowie fans!

Pay homage to your hero on ultimate tour of Bowie’s Berlin

‘Berlin, the greatest cultural extravaganza that one could imagine’ – David Bowie

A new limited edition city break takes David Bowie fans on an immersive tour of Bowie’s Berlin to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his iconic album Heroes.

Bowie retreated to West Berlin from 1976 to 1979 and the bespoke Bowie-Berlin tour visits the music-legend’s favourite haunts. Guests can hang out in the Paris Bar, visit Hansa Studio where Bowie recorded Heroes, and perhaps party at one his favourite clubs, SO36.

A walking tour of the Mitte district includes a stop at the Gibson Guitar European headquarters for an exclusive Q&A with Bowie biographer and former Fleet Street rock journalist Lesley-Ann Jones.

Guests on the three-night tour, from October 20-23, stay at the exclusive boutique five-star Soho House members’ club and hotel where they enjoy a private fine dining experience and Q&As with Bowie's official tour photographer Denis O'Regan and British broadcaster 'Whispering' Bob Harris OBE.

The Bowie-Berlin tour is curated and hosted by ‘Doc of Rock’ Dr Julia Jones for up to 30 guests and is the first in a new series of Saga music-themed city breaks.

Denis O’Regan, Bowie's Official tour photographer commented on the tour:

"I’m looking forward to sharing my behind the scenes stories and photos from the days I spent in Berlin with David. Such great memories shooting photos at David's apartment, his Glass Spider show by the Berlin Wall and visiting Hansa Studios where he recorded Heroes. It’s great to return to Berlin, the city where music and creativity continue to thrive."
