Saga guests can discover the natural beauty of Croatia and Montenegro during an all-inclusive two-centre holiday with prices starting from £979. The price includes flights, all meals, a free bar open from 11am to 11pm and selected excursions.

Week One

Guests stay in Hotel Astarea (QQQ+) in the small village of Mlini on the Dubrovnik Riviera – an ideal base for exploring Croatia’s coast which is dotted with sandy bays. For further discovery there are historic towns and cities as well as islands clothed by forests, vineyards and lemon plantations.

The seven-night stay includes a tour of Dubrovnik’s ancient walls and old town, plus visits to the charming Konavle Valley and the village of Mikulici to see a 3,000-year-old Illyrian tomb.

There’s also a selection of optional excursions including a boat cruise around the beautiful Elaphite Islands and the chance to contrast historic Kotor with Budva.

For those who prefer to relax, the hotel is 100 metres from the beach and leisure facilities at Hotel Astarea include an indoor seawater pool, an outdoor pool, a massage salon, fitness area and sauna.

Week Two

For the second part of the holiday, guests cross the border to Montenegro and stay in the Hotel Tara Montenegro (4Q), which has a private beach, in the stunning setting of Becici.

Included tours feature a guided walk in nearby Budva Old Town which dates to the 4th century, plus a visit to Sveti Stefan which was once an island but is now linked to the mainland by a causeway.

Further optional excursions include a full-day’s visit to Albania and a full-day’s journey to Skadar Lake.
