Motorsport lovers can enjoy the thrill of the Isle of Man TT Race during Saga Sapphire’s British Isles and Ireland cruise in May 2018.

The cruise has been perfectly timed to coincide with the motorcycle race and the 700-passenger ship drops anchor near Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man.

Guests can join an optional excursion to watch the race at the famous grandstand, The Noble Park Fanzone, or consider a quieter option to join a transfer to Ramsey Town to watch the TT racing in Parliament Square and later head off into the pretty town with time for a spot of lunch and some retail therapy.

The cruise also includes raising a glass or two in Dublin and sailing into Liverpool to perhaps ‘twist and shout’ through The Beatles Story exhibition in the Albert Dock.

Meanwhile, back on board, the party atmosphere continues with live bands and host of entertainment and activities.

Saga Sapphire’s last port of call to Portland, in Dorset, gives guests the opportunity to admire the sweeping Jurassic Coast.

Optional excursions include a tip-toe through a colony of nesting mute swans at Abbotsbury Swannery or visits to Bovington Tank Museum, Sherbourne Castle or Minterne House, featured in the book 'England's 1,000 Best Houses'.
