Follow in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Let Saga treat you like royalty in British Colombia

If the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s eight-day tour of beautiful British Colombia has whetted your appetite to see the province’s spectacular landscapes, why not join Saga’s Vancouver and the Rockies tours in 2017?

Be treated like royalty and enjoy Saga’s VIP door-to-door chauffeur service as well as being looked after by a Saga tour manager during every step of the 15-night escorted tour.

From Vancouver on Canada's west coast to Banff high in the mountains stay in hand-picked 3Q and 4Q hotels to see picturesque lakes, glaciers, canyons and wildlife.

Fly to Vancouver and spend three nights in the city with plenty of time for sightseeing and the chance to take an optional tour to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain.

Explore Victoria, where Prince George and Princess Charlotte stole the limelight when the family arrived in British Colombia, and from this lovely setting take an optional whale-watching tour.

Continue to the alpine resort of Whistler, explore the town and take a gondola trip to the Blackcomb Mountains. Later, in the lush Fraser Valley, learn about the Gold Rush and the Shuswap First Nation on a visit to Hat Creek Ranch.

Head east along the Yellowhead Highway into Alberta for a two-night stay and tour Jasper to spot wildlife. Depending on the season look for elk, mule deer, Dall's sheep, bighorn, mountain goat and ptarmigan.

Travel to the Maligne Canyon, where thousands of years of erosion have carved a 165-foot gorge in the limestone rock, and where the Maligne River thunders through the canyon and down several waterfalls. There’s also time for a cruise on beautiful Maligne Lake, at the foot of the mountains.

Next, drive along the famous Icefields Parkway en route to Lake Louise, which includes a stop at the Athabasca Glacier for a ride on the Ice Explorer. Spend two nights in Lake Louise to admire the sparkling blue lake surrounded by glacier-clad peaks.

Banff awaits so consider a helicopter tour over the picturesque alpine resort or take a cable-car ride up Sulphur Mountain to round-up this incredible tour of cool mountain peaks and cool cities that are fit for a king!
