Golden night for Titan and Saga at the Travel Industry Globes
•Saga Holidays - Favourite Escorted Tours Operator and Favourite Long-Haul Operator
•Titan - Best Mainstream Touring Company
Saga’s travel businesses - Saga Holidays, Saga Cruises and Titan Travel have scooped a number of top awards at the Travel Weekly Globes Awards – the travel industries equivalent of the Golden Globes.
Titan Travel were delighted to bring home Best Mainstream Touring Company, which was voted for entirely by travel agents.
Saga Cruises sailed home with Favourite Ocean Cruise Company whilst Saga Holidays walked away with Favourite Escorted Tours Operator and Favourite Long-Haul Operator in the special consumer awards of the night voted for by readers of the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and Mail online.

Titan have been working with the trade for many years and it’s great that by learning from their expertise Saga Holidays and Cruises have managed to make such a profound impact after just a year of selling through the trade. The night itself saw the amazing Abandoman perform for Saga, as well as Piers Morgan, Dame Edna Everage as well as an outstanding performance by X-factor winner Louisa Johnson.

The awards are voted for entirely by UK travel agents, with additional consumer awards voted for by readers of Mail Brands UK.
The event, at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, was hosted by Dame Edna Everage and Travel Weekly editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley.
Journalist and television personality Piers Morgan presented the Consumer Awards, while entertainment was provided by performers including X-Factor winner Louisa Johnson.
