Get in the mood for dancing with an intoxicating cocktail of music and winter sunshine on Saga Sapphire’s all-inclusive Canary Island Medley cruise which departs from Southampton on December 8, 2017.

The Syd Lawrence Orchestra will be recreating the unforgettable sounds of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey while Jamie Michael Stewart will ‘fly guests to the moon’ with a tribute to Frank Sinatra, plus songs from Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby.

Jazz vocalist Elaine Delmar, a regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, will be wowing guests with her interpretations of the great American songwriters including George Gershwin and Cole Porter, plus jazz musician Pete Neighbour will entertain with his contagious enthusiasm for jazz and swing. He has performed at private parties for Prince Charles, Sir Michael Caine and Mick Jagger so guests will be in for a treat!

Top broadcaster Johnny Beerling will complete the line-up with lively talks on music and broadcasting. The former controller of BBC Radio 1 will give a fascinating insight into the world of radio and take part in a question and answer session.
