Saga releases four new short cruises for 2017

Saga’s new 2017 cruise calendar includes four short sailings to tempt new-to-cruise passengers to
jump aboard for a taste of life on the small and welcoming Saga Sapphire and Saga Pearl II.
Several of the cruises include Bank Holiday weekends so passengers who need to keep an eye on their annual leave have an even better chance to squeeze in a short break.
Prices start from £499 and include UK travel to and from the port, accommodation and meals, a choice of wines at lunch and dinner, afternoon tea, 24-hour room service, unlimited tea and coffee in selected venues, Wi-Fi, all gratuities, on board entertainment and optional insurance cover.

Guests can soak up the festive spirit with a return sailing from Southampton to some of Europe’s loveliest Christmas markets. Saga Sapphire calls at Bremerhaven for Bremen, Germany; Ijmuiden for Amsterdam, Holland and Zeebrugge for Bruges, Belgium.

This spring mini-cruise to the Continent on 449-passenger Saga Pearl II features overnight calls in Rouen, in Normandy, and Falmouth, in Cornwall, to offer added time to explore these lovely ports, plus there is a call to St Peter Port, in Guernsey. The cruise has a gardens theme with options to visit Monet’s garden at Giverny and the Eden Project or Trebah Gardens in Cornwall.
