Grand Tour of Portugal by Rail
A perfect introduction to Portugal. Californian Coastal Charms
California’s stunning coastal scenery unfolds on this tour with a combination of classic American road trips, including the infamous 17 mile drive, and memorable train journeys. Starting in LA there is time to explore the city before boarding the Amtrak train for the first rail journey to Santa Barbara. Guests then head to Monterey aboard the Amtrak Heritage Coast Starlight train, famous for being the first train to run the length of the West Coast on a route widely hailed as America’s prettiest. Finally there’s a drive along ‘Highway One’ before this amazing tour ends in San Francisco.
