seven day GP service
Commenting on Theresa Mays' frustration at the failure of GP surgeries to offer extended opening hours, Paul Green from Saga said:
"Saga recently polled more than 10,000 over 50s and discovered that half of those over 50 struggle to see a GP the same day they fall ill and more than a third wait between one and two weeks for an appointment. Moving to a seven day a week service is an ambition the Government needs to achieve sooner rather than later and the Prime Minister is right to focus on the issue. Being able to see your GP when you need them is key for young and old alike."
