Guests enjoy five birdwatching tours with a visit to the Tabernas desert to spot kestrels and golden eagles; the Almerian wetlands to look for the Andouin and slender-billed gull and Los Vélez Natural Park where the griffon vulture may be seen.

Guests also visit Sierra Pelada and Andevalo. The Sierra Pelada is a Special Protection Area, for its Black Vulture colony, one of the largest in Iberia. Andevalo is particularly important as a breeding area for raptors, the Great and Little Bustards are just some of the birds you might be fortunate enough to see.
