Saga reduces cost of Cuba Holidays to celebrate Havana’s 500th anniversary

As the capital Havana celebrates the 500th anniversary of its foundation, bookings made between December 3 and December 14, 2018 benefit from a reduction of £100 per person on Saga’s Cuba Libre, Viva Cuba and Memories Jibacoa holidays.
Cuba Libre is an exploration of the enchanting island, home to coffee and cigars, including tours of Havana and the Spanish colonial cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad.
Excursions take in the Che Guevara mausoleum, Las Terrazas Nature Reserve, the Viñales Valley, a boat trip across Cienfuegos Bay, and the Bay of Pigs and a museum dedicated to the 1961 attempted invasion by American-backed Cuban exiles. Those favouring a completely relaxing escape can choose an all-inclusive week at the Memories Jibacoa resort on an unspoilt, golden beachfront at Arroyo Bermejo, on Cuba’s north coast. The stay includes up to four excursions and evening entertainment, while activities include snorkelling, kayaking, classes in Spanish, Cuban history and Latin dance, tennis, beach volleyball and yoga.
